Best Hostel Skeppsbron, our newest hostel, opened in July 2008 and is located in the heart of Stockholm on Skeppsbron 22. The oldest sections of the hostel date from the 1400s, and the ’newer’ ones from the late 1600s. The premises are now totally renovated including fresh, newly-built bathrooms. There is a splendid view over Stockholm’s waters from the guest kitchen and community room as well as from a number of the sleeping quarters. Within walking distance, you can experience most of what Stockholm has to offer. Best Hostel Sheppsbron is without exaggeration a perfect point from which to discover Sweden’s capital. The King’s castle (Kungliga slottet) is our neighbor. Djurgårds ferry, only a stone’s throw away, has daily excursions to such attractions as the open air museum Skansen, Vasa Museum (Vasamuseet) and Gröna Lund tivoli. Music and dance at the Opera, relaxing on the Kungsträdgården concourse, shopping at Gallerian and on Hamngatan, along with Stureplan nightlife are all nearby. During the day, the wharf in front of our hostel is a lively scene of people, restaurants and a never-ending stream of boats. 

We have over 200 beds, divided among single, double, triple, 4-bed, 6-7 and 8-bed rooms as well as a 14-bed-room. Most rooms make use of shared toilet and shower facilities. Some rooms have a private toilet and shower, and a few have a kitchenette as well. The smaller rooms are only for private stay, and the bigger rooms are available for larger private groups or as dormitory beds for budget travellers. There are several fully equipped guest kitchens, all with complimentary coffee. We also have complimentary internet and WIFI.
