Can you check in when reception is closed?

Yes, you always get a code to the entrance. If you are checking in when the reception is closed, you will find a message with your name on the wall opposite the reception desk. Then you will know which room has been allocated to you and how to get there. Then you can pay the day after.  

Do you have to pay for final cleaning when you leave?

No cleaning is included in the price.  

Can I pay by credit card?

Yes, we take most cards except AMEX and Diners.  

Do I pay in advance?

If you book through Hostel world they can take a deposit through their booking service. You pay for the room when you check-in.  

Can I use my own sleeping bag?

No! For hygienic reasons, ALL guests must use clean linens including pillowcase, bed sheets and duvet cover. You are allowed to use your own linen as long as they meet the above requirements. You can also rent linen (50 SEK/set) and towels (15 SEK/towel). 

Do you have to return to the hostel before a certain time at night?

No, all checked-in guests will receive door codes so they can come and go as they wish. (Please show respect to other guests by keeping noise to a minimum).  

Do you serve breakfast?

Yes, we serve a simple breakfast; it consists of coffee or tea, juice, double roll, and cereal with milk or yogurt. In addition, complimentary coffee and tea are available in the kitchen and there are storage facilities for your food, so you can choose to make your own breakfast. There are also a lot of cafés nearby.  

Can I cook my own food?

Yes, all the equipment needed is in the kitchen, where you will also find free pasta.  

Is it possible to pay in non Swedish currency?

Yes it is, in exceptional cases. However, we will not be able to give as good a rate compared to foreign exchange offices. We recommend people use credit cards or have already exchanged to Swedish currency. 

If I share a room and I bring a laptop, can I store it somewhere else that is secure?

We have, unfortunately, as it stands now, no lockers in the shared rooms, but we can put guest’s valuables in our luggage room.
