Best Hostel City is located on a quiet street next to Sveavägen in the city center. Nearby, you'll find Stockholm's best shopping and choice of restaurants for all occasions and budgets. You are in walking distance of Stockholm’s sights and tourist attractions including museums, The Concert Hall and the Central Station. The Globe Arena, Stockholm International Fairs, exhibition halls and Hovet Arena are easily accessible by the underground (Hötorget is the underground station nearest to the hotel).  

Our rooms are newly refurbished, but date back to the 18th Century when the building was originally a brewery. Most of our rooms have ensuite facilities, but we also have rooms with shared toilets and showers. Also available are small dormitories with 6-16 beds. There is a fully equipped kitchen with free coffee, tea and pasta or you can choose our own basic breakfast for a reasonable price.  

We have four computers with free internet access for all our guests and if you have your own computer you can connect to our wireless network with coverage throughout the building. We also have a lounge where you can socialize with others.  

For those interested in culture there is the famous Stockholm City Library, designed by Gunnar Asplund, just one street away. A short walk away, you can reach the ’Observatorielunden’, which gives a view over the city, as taken from Astrid Lindgren's ’Karlsson on the Roof’.  

For families with children there is a fantastic park nearby where children are free to move around and play. For parents of young children, we have a playroom, where children can borrow toys and take them up to the room. We also have high chairs and cots available to borrow.
